About Provoked
“Now while Paul was waiting for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him as he saw that the city was full of idols.” -Acts 17:16-
While in Athens, Paul was provoked or stirred up to take action due to the rampant idolatry he saw all around him. What did he do with the rage and provocation the Spirit of God stirred up within him? He immediately began to dismantle idolatrous ideologies and then began to build with the powerfully proclaimed Gospel.
The purpose of this show is to clearly expose, educate about, and absolutely decimate all the cultural idols around us. It’s about looking at the ideological idols in our land from a biblical worldview, tear them down with the sword of God’s Word, and Provoke other Christians to do so.
The truth is, the only good idol is an utterly destroyed idol.
